Jimmy Pulli
Vaasa, Finland
Jimmy lives and works in Vaasa, Finland, with his wife - printmaker Sini Björkholm - and two sons. He's a visual artist, mostly interested in making large installations and experimenting with sound, light, and toying with new techniques and materials. His aim is to create atmospheres rather than singular objects. Themes like cultural bonds, loss, faith, communication, the impermanence of objects and memories have been touched upon in his works.
He has created two public works on commission, is active in local artist-run organizations Platform and Vaasa Artists' Guild, and works with graphic design on the side.
