Xiang Zhao

Hi all! My name is Xiang Zhao, but you can call me Jimmy. I am from Springfield, MA and am currently a junior at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am also a finance major enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management. I love it here!

I was born in FuZhou, China in December of 1992. Lived there for 2 years until my family decided to move to America, so basically, I was raised here. I then lived in Springfield, MA for the next 16 years of my life, until my family move to Chicopee, MA when I started college. Along with English I am also fluent in three other Chinese dialects; mandrian, cantonese and Fuzhou dialect. I love traveling, meeting new people, making friends and exploring new things.

When i graduate in 2015, I wish to pursue a business career that will allow me to travel. I never liked the lifestyle where one does the same thing day after day; going to work already expecting what is to come. I want my daily life to be different, full of challenges and excitement, and being able to resolve different issues every day. Also, another reason for traveling is that I really want to see the world in all its wonders that will take more than one's lifetime to explore.
