Changing the world one step at a time

My path in music began when I started taking piano lessons at 8 years old. My teacher was a very talented classical pianist, so that was the background of my piano studies. I became pretty good; I played in many recitals and in a couple competitions. Playing piano was not the only thing I did. I also was a Boy Scout and I played basketball and football. I stopped taking piano lessons before high school because I simply did not have time with football practice and everything else. Plus, I wanted to broaden my musical horizons. Now my main instrument is percussion.
