Jimmy Adtani

I was born in one of the most culturally diverse country in the world, where parents want their child (actually children, since we are the 2nd most populated country) to be either a doctor or an engineer. With over a million influencers, I was headed in that direction and by far it is the only failure I am proud of, apart from the long list of ex-girlfriend(s).

With the third most common dream of every parent being "My son will do Masters in Business Administration," I specialised in Marketing (major: advertising) while I was graduating in Management studies. Subconsciously I was considering myself some kind of Advertising God, while I was graduating, by rating every TV commercial/ print ad as, It Sucks or Ummm Not Bad.

After spending 4 years in the industry, I find advertising to be interesting, challenging and addictive, which coincides with my passion for gaming. I can rightfully call myself a semi-professional gamer after winning the 2008 all India championship for Need for Speed Most Wanted. Writing lyrics for a local band is one thing I really enjoyed doing apart from gaming and advertising.

Considering the stereotype, you might think how did this geek land into advertising... I would love to have that conversation.
