Jimmy Bigwood
Baltimore, Maryland
I'm a 22-year old graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, who holds a Bachelor of Science. At Washington, I graduated with a double major; physics, to learn how the world works—and history, to learn how it has worked.
I love all things old, musical, and anything to do with Baltimore sports.
For my postgrad summer, I was a Comegys Bight Fellow at the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. Currently, I'm working for the Maryland State Archives, on site at the Baltimore City Archives, focusing on the analog-to-digital conversion process — working to make hundreds of years worth of information more accessible to the general public.
In the past, I've worked in Geographic Information Systems, constructing digital 3D models of real life buildings for placement into Google Earth. I've also worked in Residential Life at the collegiate level, as the Resident Area Director of a housing zone.
I'm an Eagle Scout, who's always in search of the next adventure!
