Grammy Award winning musician, writer, producer, and educator. Jimmy was a founding member of the Smashing Pumpkins and the band’s highly acclaimed drummer for over 20 years. In 2011 Chamberlin got involved in the Chicago tech scene as an investor and advisor. In 2013 Chamberlin expanded his role and helped co-found LiveOne Inc., a Chicago-based digital entertainment startup, of which he was soon after appointed CEO. Chamberlin’s extensive experience in the entertainment industry helped propel and craft LiveOne’s keystone product, CrowdSurfing, as an ideal live streaming application for both advertisers and content producers. Chamberlin’s experience as both a content creator and a consumer, as well as his knowledge relating to the monetization of cultural movements proved to be key to LiveOne’s success and brought LiveOne to the forefront of redefining the live stream experience. Under Chamberlin’s leadership – the company experienced 300% Y/Y growth and grew to be recognized as the final word on engagement around digital content. In August of 2015, he brought that knowledge to the consulting world and together with Jan D'Alessandro, co-founded Blue J Strategies.
