Jimmy Dawson

Jimmy Dawson is a passionate school leader devoted to building students for the future. Jimmy has 20 years of experience as a school principal with over 30 years in education. Jimmy prides himself in hiring the best teachers who generate an environment of quality learning in each classroom. With numerous awards and recognitions, Jimmy has developed, created, and established a positive learning environment for students & staff. His passion for student learning brought him back from the private sector as a successful insurance and financial agent. The highlight of his career has been going to work with his kids at Acton Middle School. Married to Leah Dawson, education is a part of their family. Jimmy will retire after serving 3 years as Assistant Superintendent, and begin his journey to continue building up educators by serving with The Flippen Group to conduct training for teachers and administrators through Capturing Kids Hearts.
