Jimmy Kuhn

With close to four decades in the real estate industry, Jimmy Kuhn has overseen more than $4 billion in transactions throughout his career. Currently the president and principal of the New York City-based brokerage firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, he brokers and advises on commercial and residential real estate transactions. Prior to joining the firm in 1992, Jimmy Kuhn spent 15 years as a real estate investment specialist with the Mendik Company in New York City and two years investing in distressed assets.

Jimmy Kuhn also brings his experience to bear on his board appointments at several educational institutions. Presently, he serves as chair of the Advisory Council of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, as well as a member of the university’s Board of Trustees and its Executive Committee. In addition, Jimmy Kuhn chairs the Advisory Board of the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate, sits on the Board of Trustees and Board of Directors for the National Jewish Medical and Research Center, and is a member of the Pratt Institute’s Board of Trustees.
