Jim Ounniyom was born in Laos. He and his family emigrated to the United States as refugees in 1986. Jim grew up as a young energetic and happy child in Richmond, California. Being the youngest of seven, he was known for being a jokester and a class clown, yet he still excelled at school and athletics. Jim loved being the center of attention, being funny and entertaining people ever since his youth and realized early on that he wanted to be an entertainer.
As a child, Jim loved to draw and write. Originally he thought about pursuing a career in Art but decided later in college to pursue a different medium... Cinema. He graduted from San Francisco State University with a Degree in TV and Film Directing. After completing his studies, Jim moved to LA and has worked as a video editor, writer, director, actor and even worked as a grip. Jim loves learning new things and is up for challenges, but his main focus is writing and acting.
Aside from his interest in the entertainment industry, Jim is also a huge sports fanatic. Being a Bay Area native, Jim is a Faithful San Francisco 49ers fan. He loves to compete and play various sports, especially football. He also trains in Muay Thai KickBoxing and many forms of martial arts.
Above all things, Jim loves his family and friends. He strives to be a good role model and a good human being.
