As Director of Commercial Technology Services for Vision Point Systems, I lead a team of consultants and engineers based out of Blacksburg, VA. It's always difficult to describe what I actually do, but it really comes down to a mix of the following:

• B2B Marketing and Sales, including brand positioning, social media and corporate strategy
• Design and requirements gathering for business software and telephony systems
• Managing implementation of software systems engineering projects
• HR - recruiting, employee relations, training programs
• Testing/QA
• Outsourcing and offshore vendor management
