I am a business lawyer and trusted advisor for some of Colorado's best privately owned companies. Among other things, I help them:

• buy and sell businesses and real estate;
• negotiate and draft complex contracts, from manufacturing deals, to joint ventures, to leases;
• implement important internal contracts, such as shareholder agreements and employment agreements;
• create value with thoughtful arrangements with key employees, including "nonqualified" (read: legally discriminatory) incentive plans and covenants not to compete (oft-misunderstood); and
• avoid the landmines in social media.
