Jinsung Kim

I received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). Currently, I'm a senior reserach engineer in Powertrain Control System Team at Hyndai Motor Company. Research interests are design, modeling, and control of mechatronic system, automotive subsystem design, and nonlinear observer design. My advisor is Prof. Seibum B. Choi. In the research area of systems and control my philosophy is as follows. Of equal importance to the theoretical developments are practical applications and the experimental evaluation of benefits and limitations of the developed methods.
