Hello everyone! And also welcome to my page!
My official name is Jiří, nevertheless as in the Czech Republic it's common not to use official names and also because it's much easier to pronounce it for a non-Czech speaking person, just call me Jirka.
I am originally from the Czech Republic. I was born and raised in a small town located east of the country, however I spent most of time in Ostrava, the third biggest city in the Czech Republic, where I attended both High School and University.
In my fifth grade of studies, in the very last moment, I finally dared enough and decided to leave the country for studies abroad. I spent the last two amazing semesters as an Erasmus student in Belgium, in a student city of Ghent. After coming back I completed my university education and successfully graduated in the field of Economics and law in business.
After studies I started to work as a private financial consultant, helping people make financial plans to achieve their goals from the financial point of view. I got valuable experience, overview on the financial market, however after one year in my home country I started to miss something.
Among others, I was missing travelling, discovering new places, new experiences, meeting new people. Well, let’s say I just got bored in my home city a bit. So I thought, as long as I am young and have no serious responsibilities, I should go discover the world. There is no special story in the backround about why I moved to Hungary. I just got a chance to work for a big international company in Budapest, in time I needed it. Thus, since the summer 2013 I have been living in Budapest.
Since then I have already changed three positions and recently also the company. As none of the jobs have seemed to be suitable for me. Eventually, I gave up on looking for a good job for me, as this doesn’t exist. Instead, I focused more on myself and started investing more energy in finding and doing things I like. Whether you agree or not, whether you are the lucky ones or not, there is no better “job” than if you can earn money for a living from what you most of the time do as a hobby. If you are lucky to find it, you don’t have to “work” anymore ;-)
After two and a half years of a cool life in Budapest, I decided to move to my country. I've moved to Prague, where I've started to write another chapter of my life.....
