She was recommended to join Rainbow by former Kara member Kim SungHee, who was a fellow classmate in her music academy during high school. Was in a rock band during her high school days that won numerous competitions. Likes drawing, writing in diaries and doing nail art. Does not like mayonnaise. Has a older sister named JiHee.
