Teacher in Czech Republic

About me

After graduating from the Technical University of Liberec with a degree in teaching English and civic education, I began my career in language education, working with both secondary school students and adult learners. Early on, I gained experience in different teaching contexts, from language schools to corporate training and individual tuition.

I later worked at the Technical University of Liberec, where I taught English for specific purposes, including business, technical and medical English. In addition to teaching, I was involved in academic work, contributed to the IMPACT project and became a certified administrator of the international TOEIC examination.

Alongside this, I also worked as a freelance English teacher, delivering tailored courses for companies, groups and individuals. This experience helped me develop a flexible, learner-centred approach and the ability to adapt content to specific professional needs.

I joined the Czech Army in 2019 and became a soldier- language instructor. Since 2023 I have been working as a chief of a methodology department, supporting my colleagues all over the republic.

I hold a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and have continued to develop my skills through further training in areas such as ICT, HR administration and modern approaches to learning.

In my free time, I enjoy cycling, hiking and skiing, as well as reading, theatre and music. Being active and spending time outdoors plays an important role in maintaining balance and well-being.
