Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jiyeon received widespread attention when she won various of competitions in worldwide.

Jiyeon is a London based artist, and active member of the Goodensemble. She is a specialist in Romantic and French music inspired by her teacher Willam Bennett who is a virtuosic flutist, specializing in that period. Jiyeon is performed with the highest vocal quality.

She has appeared at venues including Blaisdell Concert Hall, Duke Hall, St. James Church, collaborated with Collin Currie, Music Alps Festival, Aco Festival. She is currently completing her Master of Arts at the Royal Academy of Music, supported by the Mrs S.S. Payne Award, where she studies flute with William Bennett and Kate Hill and piccolo with Patrica Morris.

After finishing her Masters programme at the Royal Academy of Music, Jiyeon will enroll at New England Conservatory for Graduate Diploma Programme.
