Jenia Jeroh

Marketing and Communications, Consultant, and Public Speaker in London, United Kingdom

Hi there, I’m Jenia and I’m a certified MarComms addict!

I’ve dedicated over 20yrs honing my skills in virtually all areas of Marketing and Communications. Global clients, small and large, from sustainable energies, international development, tourism, education, food and Japanese and UK Governments have all benefitted from tapping into my experience. Covering the gamut of integrated campaigns, digital comms, PR training, copywriting, events and branding to name a few, I understand the strengths and limits of MarComms practices. However, more importantly, I’ve mastered how to strategically plan from the start so that wheels aren’t constantly being re-invented and time and money aren’t wasted. Tactics truly helpful in my professional growth and in advising others.

I’m a writing fiend, having written press releases to political speeches, from blogs to promotional copy. I also am an events meister and have managed and hosted large-scale awards shows and speaking engagements to intimate training workshops for SMEs. Additionally, as I live and breathe comms, I’m perfectly content with leading high profile tourism campaigns endorsed by HRH The Prince of Wales, as I am with advising charmingly budding women-led enterprises in my role as a Mentoring Ambassador for The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.

Women’s issues are one of my heartfelt causes. I’ve worked with Lynne Franks OBE (the UK’s renowned women’s advocate and strategic communications powerhouse) and am part of the Oya Chronicles team, hosting ‘In Conversation With My Mother’; an enchanting performance event that bridges spoken word, dance, art and music to tell an inspiring story. This public speaking role extends to being an auctioneer. Next stop, Christie’s.

Do I have any spare time you ask? If I’m not working on community-led campaigns for Amnesty International or presenting on eradicating poverty for the Global Poverty Project, I’m a huge fan of dreaming and scanning the net for my next pair of snazzy specs (it’s a legit hobby). Or perhaps you’ll find me stringing together and orating an elaborate story or intently listening to someone else’s laboured tale. There’s also my daily headstand routine (yoga anyone?), brushing up on rusty Japanese and the odd crafting project.
