I am a proud generalist who is excited to move into the startup world. I have worked in many functions in many industries. Functions include aministration, operations, accounting & finance, customer service, research, consulting, and quality control. Industries include public policy, higher education, telecommunications, hospitality, energy, consumer products, medical devices and software. Additionally, I have an MBA with a focus in accounting.

I am currently a student at the Boston Startup School in the Marketing Analytics track. I actually applied for the Design track and was told that I would be a better fit for the marketing track, and I am taking that advice and running with it.

I'm a vegetarian, except when I'm not (though I used to actually be a vegetarian). I enjoy international cooking, particularly middle eastern, and ethiopian, and imitating whatever I can from Alton Brown, Ming Tsai and America's Test Kitchen. My two proudest cooking moments both relate to bread baking: one was making fluffy pita bread, and the other was a loaf of challah bread that was not self supporting even though it was fully cooked.

My favorite type of music is bluegrass.

I am a retired marathon runner who runs 3 miles a day. I play golf occasionally, and with I played more. I live in Boston, Massachusetts with my wife and my son who is nearly a year old.
