In May, I'll be graduating from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations. I currently work atCardinal Communications, a student-run creative communications agency, as the Client Relations Director. Managing 22 clients, 13 account directors and 86 members may seem tough, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Working in Indianapolis is where I will start because Indianapolis is a great place for begininning public relations professionals. Since I have been able to work with more than 22 clients in the Indianapolis area, I feel comfortable working with clients in this area.

In the future, I hope to be a prominent member of the sports and entertainment marketing industries. Since I am most interested in entertainment and sports, my public relations degree will best serve me in that industry. Working in the field in which I have the most passion will be a perfect stepping stone for me in the future.

Indianapolis is the only area that could fulfill a successful career in the sports marketing industry because of its involvement with the Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis 500 and the NCAA tournament. In short, Indianapolis is the hub for sports marketing, and any sports marketer will not be able to have a successful career without starting in Indianapolis.
