Joel is lead investor & a co-founder of NGENI IO, a Nairobi-based, fullstack Web3 & Blockchain software engineering studio building complex cross-platform applications, bots & dApps for DeFi, Fintech & Markets Trading. A team of 50+ with over 20 Developers fulltime. Joel also has a related investment in another software engineering studio based in Bangladesh, Core Devs.

Previously, Joel was co-founder of BitKiosk, a Bitcoin & Ethereum P2P liquidity and OTC provider (exceeded €300 mm in trading volume) , exited in 2021 to a crypto-backed Kazakh Investment group exchange vehicle. He is also a crypto native from Ethereum's early community building days in London back in 2014.

Joel was also part of the founding teams for of TOIA and non-executive director at Generic Robotics. He held strategic & investment board advisor roles at 3D Sparrow, HiUp App and Olive Learning.

Former investment banker (Deutsche Bank, Nexus Group, AdamStreet) and venture capitalist (ESB NovusModus) with significant experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity raising and Capital formation.
