Hello, I'm Jessica, a fourth year undergraduate student from Ryerson University. I am studying Professional Communications and minoring in Communication Design. I have experience in creating social media content and being a Director of Professional Communication.
Experience
Professional work experience in being a Social Media Content Creator has allowed me to use my communication and graphic design skills to plan and develop content on Pinterest and Instagram for start-up companies.
Volunteer experience in being a Director of Professional Communication at Ryerson University taught me how to strengthen the communication between our student society and Professional Communication students. I created awareness and engagement to Professional Communication students by using the needs of the students to service resources and activities through promoting social media channels.
Career Goals
My goal is to help startup companies build a strong online social media presence. I want to help communicate your company’s mission and resources by creating appealing graphics and using effective storytelling strategies tailored to your target audience.
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy exercising my skills in graphic design using tools such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Cloud, visual and written storytelling, visual art, and social media.
