I am a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by qualification, but have found my calling in entrepreneurship. My unwavering commitment to innovation and constant change, firmly routed in a deep seated drive to excel rather than achieve, has rendered me a leader in more industries than one - including Information Technology, Education, Manufacturing, Printing and Publishing and Infrastructural Development. I see failure as a challenge to overcome, never a hurdle to my success. I love such challenges, and see a shortcut as the longest route to any goal.

I commenced my journey in the world of entrepreneurship as both CEO and sales executive of V V Rajan & Company in 1987, publishing school text books in the region, authored by my father, a high school teacher. What started then as an organization with 3 employees including myself, has today grown into a full fledged empire with a standing in multiple industries, employing hundreds of professionals directly and indirectly, and serving thousands of happy customers every year. Our strongest foothold is in the Education Industry in which we run 5 higher secondary schools under the flagship of the Padma Sarangapani Educational Trust, publish school text books for over 4000 schools in South India under the flagship of Apollo Publications (the largest publisher in the region), and bring innovative, technology-based teaching pedagogies into the classroom through InteliSchool Pvt. Ltd. We have a strong foothold in the printing and publishing industry, with one of the country's largest printing presses with the latest and most advanced technologies under our wing - Amrith Press, based at Chennai. Our commitment to innovation and never ending passion for excellence led us into the real estate industry in the year 2000. A decade down, we are leaders in the region with 5 splendid projects - 3 small scale and 2 mega projects - to our credit, and an unprecedented method of construction, perfected - we are the first in the country to use pre-fabrication for domestic and commercial construction.

As Founder, CEO and Managing Director of the group, if there is one philosophy that guides my very existence, it is that man's reach should exceed his grasp.
