Jessie Karner

Jessie Karner graduated from Bridgewater State University in May of 2012 with degrees in Psychology and English. She now works with American Student Assistance as the Education Advisor for the Upward Bound Program at Brockton High School. She is passionate about education. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Salem State University. Jessie hopes to someday work with first year college students in orientation or housing services.

In her free time Jessie manages the Hopkinton High School Wrestling Team. Jessie recently started running regulary and is hoping to run her first marathon in 2015. She also is passionate about cancer fundraisers. She has spoken at and participated in many Relay for Life events and is also planning to walk the Susan G. Komen 3-day in July. At these events she speaks about finding the silver lining and living your life happy, ideas that her late mother, Linda Karner, instilled in her.
