Jacqueline Kate Busuttil
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Professional DJ for all occasions! www.djmytjaxx.com
Currently studying: Bachelor Social Science: Youth Work at ACU. Melbourne Campus.
Prior to commencing University studies at the start of this this year, I had previously been working in a permanent position for 13 years in the Out of School Hours Care program at St. Leonard’s College, Brighton. In this time my roles within the College’s program have been the Assistant Co-Ordinator during term time and School Holiday Program Co-Ordinator during School Holiday’s.
As a young adult with a vast range of life experiences, the sum of my experiences & extensive work with young people & their families, including the area of diversity both voluntary and paid have clearly lead me to the conviction of wanting to further my career & studies in these areas & my passion for wanting to work with young people to help make a difference.
From 2008 2012 I have also been a permanent weekend recreational volunteer leader for MOIRA Interchange Southern, a program that caters for young people who may have a broad range of physical, intellectual, sensory or multiple disabilities.
My hobbies & passion’s also include being a professional DJ who has hosted and organised many dance parties & DJ workshops with small & large groups of children/youth and their families, including parties for youth with disabilities, of which I find myself applying for grants involving children/youth to local councils and organisation to find funding to put on community based workshops/ events.
I have produced & conducted DJ iPad workshops for Children, which have been a huge success and have just recently conducted a workshop with ArtPlay run by Melbourne City Council.
