John Kent

After graduating from UIC with a BA in French/Business and an MBA in marketing, I worked at my uncle's State Farm Agency in Chicago. After 1 year, I asked him for a raise and he said "no", so I decided to start my own agency. At the time, American Family Insurance was making a push to get into Chicago, so I was one of the first agents into the North Side. I was immediately successful, since I was able to write 1000's of other young professional like myself in and around Lakeview/Wrigleyville. Since then, my clients have started families, and moved all over Chicagoland, and my agency continues to grow. I still have the same office since 1993, and now employ 2 full time staff to help me service 3000 policies.
