Born and raised in Sweden, to Icelandic and Finnish parents, Jóhannes is now living in Michigan, USA.
My life has always been equally affected by my favourite interests - technology, music, and quality spirits. It was clear very early that I would become an engineer but that did not stop me from spending every minute of my spare time on music and collecting single-malts.
Being an overachiever with an inability to say no, I have been part of more choirs, orchestras, educational and non-profit organizations than I can remember, often holding elected positions.
After starting my career at the startup Icomera, designing and delivering high-speed internet solutions for high-speed trains all across Europe, I finally ended up at Ford Motor Company's Research & Advanced Engineering department, where I work on Smart & Connected Electrified Vehicles, while also getting an MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.
