Jon Larry Cox graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1980 with a BS in Industrial Management. After 23 years in as a financial advisor I started Green Diesel & Electric, LLC in 2013 to bring clean renewable energy to the world. The technology that my company represent is unique in several ways. It is the only gasification system that is able to upgrade bio oil into ASTM D975 Ultra Low Sulfur diesel fuel without the need for a fluidized bed with a catalyst. Our systems have extremely good financial returns without relying on tax credits or government incentives, which is very important. There are many different renewable energy technologies available today, and they will all be needed if we really want to reduce/eliminate carbon emissions.
