That's the moment. At a Safeway deli. As a part-time high school employee, handing a sandwich to an elderly lady, who just moments ago, was frustrated. I was thrilled to have untangled a difficult situation and upsold a combo meal to a happy customer.
Did I know that meant I want to be leading revenue teams one day? Not even close. I have a major in Chinese History from UCSB, after all.
I started as a revenue consultant at PwC China after I graduated. Since then, I have been in the world of revenue. I became a revenue practitioner at Fuze, before moving into a leadership position there, followed by XING, Cybereason, Allma, and Sherpa. I am currently the SVP of Customer Success at Zoovu.
I strive to always put together the best team and systems for a company to scale and achieve sustainable growth.
I have the most fun when I roll up my sleeves to help companies up-level their revenue practices in parallel with their growth. My superpower is my ability to transform teams to drive revenue growth. I have a proven track record of transforming go-to-market teams from organic inbound-only operations into highly effective outbound revenue machines. In addition, I have successfully repositioned Customer Success from a cost center to a revenue center and formalized technical integration and support teams to provide sales and post-sales support.
I thrive on the challenge of scaling teams for velocity, density, and momentum while maintaining team morale through the most challenging times. My teams consistently outperform and stay connected beyond the walls of where they met. I'd like to think it's because of all my funny jokes, but it probably has more to do with my goal to always lead by example and empathy.
