Jonathon, is a U.S. Navy veteran with over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical compounding and general healthcare. His career in healthcare began in 2004 when he enlisted in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. After completing his first year of hospital corpsman training, he attended the Field Medical Training Battalion with the U.S. Marines at Camp Johnson, NC. Upon graduation, Jonathon was granted the privilege of attending the Naval School of Health Sciences where he completed the pharmacy technician program, graduating sixth in his class out of twenty-five. He worked independently, without the supervision of a pharmacist, for three and a half years at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune.

He currently works as a pharmacy technician at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Comprehensive Center, where he specializes in oncology pharmaceuticals. Here, he is also responsible for the monthly inventory, pharmacy supply, and maintaining the annual budget.

He is proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point and uses other programs such as Cardinal Order Express, McKesson, and UChart.

Additionally, his vast knowledge of healthcare includes areas such as healthcare delivery and organization, medical sociology, microeconomics and ethics in healthcare, in addition to other areas like nutrition and genetics.
