Jason Lim
Hi there! My name is Jason Lim. I am currently Finance and Marketing Student in Curtin University Sarawak. I hold Advance Diploma in Hotel Management (Major in Marketing and Management) from University of Toulouse -Le Mira II, France. Ever since I was little, I have been travelling all around the world. Inspired by quote “The World Is Our Backyard”, I love to explore new destination and interact with local people and its culture,tradition,food and lifestyle. On the journey, I seek to capture the essence of the place and leaves with a deeper understanding of it. What do I get in return? I get to learn about myself and about the world, knowing that there is so much to do than staying permanently in one place.
As a frequent traveller, I learned how the travel industry worked. I believed that in order to expand career to travel industry, the most important qualities to possess are communication, teamwork and customer service skills. My current career focus is corporate travel consultant for travel/tourism company.My area of concentration will be customer service relationship. I consider myself to be upbeat, self-motivated team player who works under pressure with excellent communication skills.
My previous experience is working as Senior Guest Service Agent in Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam. My experience includes solving customer inquiry and problem, which turns to be my expertise. I also manage my staffs and guide them to achieve their goal in their life.One of my achievement is being elected as employee of the month twice in a year. I attribute this motivation to my ability to plan, schedule, and handle multiple tasks at once;both internally and externally. With 4 years of experience in hospitality industry, I understand that excellent customer service is vitally important as it’s the first point of contact between the hotel guest and the representative of the hotel. After all, hotel guest is the core business of the hotel.
