Performances in Films & Series

Joey Leong shined in her debut horror film ‘BloodTies’ (2009), nominated as the 'Best Actress' in the 'Asian Festival of First Films Award 2009’ in Singapore. Followed by Hong Kong film 'Second Coming 3D' (2013) directed by the well-known Hong Kong filmmaker, HermanYau; ‘River of Exploding Durian’ (2014) directed by talented well-recognised Malaysian director Edmund Yeo (also nominated as Best Actress in Tokyo International Film Festival 2014) ;Singapore film ‘AhBoys to Men 3: Frogmen’ (2015) directed by the popular Singapore film director, Jack Neo; Chinese new year local film ‘Amazing Spring’ (2019) directed by Nick Wong; and recently a Chinese film ‘Wish List’(2020), co-starring Law Kar Ying, the widely known Hong Kong veteran actor.

Joey Leong has also taken varied roles in Malaysia and Singapore TV series like ‘Turning Point 2’ (2019), ‘The Memoir of Majie’ (2017), ‘The Men In Black School’ (2017), ‘In Laws I & II’ (2013 - 2014), ‘The Liar’ (2013), ‘Destiny in Her Hands’ (2011), ‘A Time to Embrace’ (2011), ‘Glowing Embers’ (2010), ‘Fighting Spiders II’ (2009), ‘Adjuster’(2009), ‘Exclusive’ (2008) and not to forget, ‘Yes sir!’ (2009), a musical idol drama directed by Yu Zhong Zhong from Taiwan.

Academic Achievements

Besides achieving full-scholarships from CoventryUniversity London Campus (CULC), she was given the title of International Student Ambassador of CULC, graduated with first class honors and awarded the ‘Most Influential Person’ on CULC’s Graduate Leadership Oscar Awards in London, United Kingdom, which represent the major achievements in her studies on top of her well-maintained academic performance since young.
