J. Lauren Slutzky

Hello! I am currently a PhD student studying Biological Engineering at The Ohio State University. My research interests include product development of renewable commercial and medical grade polymers. I use multi-variate statistics to define manufacturing parameters and subsequent impact upon product properties and utility. I have an interest in public policy as well, specifically with regards to climate change and international development.

Creating renewable polymeric materials and products to improve the global quality of life, while generating new manufacturing sectors to provide economic opportunity, are the key motivators in my career as a scientist.

I have a BS in Biological Engineering, and a BS in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
