I am an independent journalist, content writer and editor. Former science and research PR professional at UGA. I earned my Master’s Degree in Health and Medical Journalism at the University of Georgia’s Grady College in 2013, spent the next five years writing about research of every discipline at UGA and I am now pursuing a career as a freelance journalist, focusing on health and science.

I enjoy writing about health, science, culture and research. I am most inspired to write about novel ideas and research discoveries that inform our ability to lead a healthy, happy life.
