Jasmine Marie Alcera is a young opera singer from the Philippines inspired by her family who are part of a choir and encouraged by her loving mother to pursue it formally throughout her career. She was trained at Holy Spirit School QC in 2008, University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music extension class in 2015 and Centro Escolar University Conservatory in 2019.

Jaz is a former Coro Tomasino soprano member, performing 3 Concerts. She also is a Former chorister at The Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception who performed at Maria 2018 concert directed by Rem Zamora, Choir member for opening act at 36th PPO Concert Season 2018, participated in Cantus’ Voices Unbound: Virtual and Lecture Series Project 2020, Pista ng Sambayanan Book Recording and various Christmas Concerts. She also sang as a guest singer at the Bureau of Treasury Retiree’s Christmas Party 2024.

Currently finishing her Bachelor’s Degree at UST Conservatory majoring in Vocal Performance under the guidance of Dr. Ronan H. Ferrer, she has completed her Academic Junior Recital, and is now preparing for her Graduation Recital. She has competed in various international competitions such as, AIMA Taiwan International Music Competition 2024, winning 2nd place in Hong Kong Region, Global Youth Music Competition: International Competition for Young Artists 2024, winning Bronze Awards, and World’s Best Music Competition 2024, winning 2nd prize. All her other stage experiences came from the conservatory recitals itself and being soloist/cantor in her respective parish.
