Hi My name is Ja'Briah Manigault. I am a rising senior at The Academy at Palumbo Liberal Arts High school. I participate in my school's varsity basketball and track team. I have played many positions but I mainly play as a Shooting Guard and Small Forward. My Track & Field events are the 4 by 1 relay and 100 meter hurdles.

I am a people’s person, and I like being able to change someone’s day by putting a smile on their face. I tend to attract people because I easily engage people in conversation. I also have an outgoing, genuine personality that allows me to build relationships with others and surround myself around positive people.

In generally, I am a solutions-oriented person: I like to solve problems or understand mysteries. In college, I want to study forensic science to pursue being a toxicologist to help solve crimes and understand what may have happened to someone who can no longer speak for themselves. Additionally, I’m interested in working with sports teams to help players figure out winning strategies.

What I want to remember when I look back on my life is that I had an impact on someone’s life to be able to them in their life. Since most people in this world only think about themselves, I want to look back and see that I helped someone.I also want to create and take advantage of opportunities to do things that other people in my family have been unable to do. For instance, I want to travel internationally and see the world.

Also in my free time when I am not playing sports, in school or practicing I like to listen to music, hang with my friends and family and go shopping.
