So im currently studying my fashion degree at university of Essex. I have always had a love for fashion from a young age and i absolutely thrive off doing well in this sector. The buzz you get from being involved in fashion shows, visiting exhibitions , creating something that is appealing to others and generally being around fashion is amazing and i would never want to loose that feeling. As a student i work part time but when i can i try to do work placements or small jobs such as dressing at Ariella couture fashion show where Leona Lewis was present amongst others, arranging a fashion show for cancer research , working a placement at Paul Costelloe and amazingly having my handbag designs on his spring summer 2010 collection catwalk at london fashion week.

As a person i am hard working and want to achieve great things, i want to become the best i can be and obviously that is only possible through determination, drive and focus. I am very precise so sometimes i can loose patience with things if they go wrong or aren't as neat and tidy as i would like them to be which can be a downfall in some ways but without the precision i wouldnt come out with the results in which i do. The garments i make are therefore something im very proud of. I am very independent and strong minded and sometimes i find it hard to work within the criterias of university as i work backwards , i get an idea and then i run with it and after that i find it hard to back up my ideas and show development.

Main passion of mine is origami fashion, i love the shapes, structure and contours within the garment. Producing something different, new, unusual and funky is something i thrive to do. I appreciate hard work and detail within construction as i can relate to how hard it is now.
