I am a humanist, an optimist, a pragmatist, a futurist, a sentimentalist and a romantic. I try to maintain a sense of wonder about the world and the universe, part of a larger appreciation and savoring of living itself. I embrace diversity, I do not fear it; I am intolerant only of the intolerant. I love history, politics, current events, classic movies and TV, the original Star Trek, Frank Sinatra and the Philadelphia Eagles, for starters.

I work for an association that promotes investment in infrastructure, to repair what is crumbling and to expand where needed to meet today's demands.
