Jorge Barrière's strengths lie in harnessing his clients’ and colleagues’ organizational, social, and creative energy and fueling collective commercial success. While at times he’s worked multiple careers concurrently, he now resides in San Ramon, California, where he brings his public and private-sector experience, along with entrepreneurial skill sets, to drive growth and innovation in his endeavors. Beginning his military career in 1996 in public affairs–just one of many roles he’s held in the U.S. Air Force–he’s been all over the U.S., Europe, and has deployed to the Middle East and Africa. Post 9/11, Jorge deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar, incl. a diplomatic mission to Turkmenistan on behalf of the US State Department, as part of a new American military collaboration with Iran's northern neighbor.

In 2008, Jorge began a three-year stint on the production team of the West Beach Music Festival, a rock/pop/electro/reggae festival held on Santa Barbara’s West Beach.

Converting creative energy to business success, Jorge has worked in numerous capacities with the likes of the Foo Fighters, Christina Aguilera, Dr. Dre, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, the Jonas Brothers, Linda Perry, Alejandra Guzman, Iration, the Section Quartet, Rebelution, HYPNOGAJA, Shyboy, and two-time world champion boxer, “Mighty” Melissa McMorrow, to name a few.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music Industry Studies and a minor in Business Leadership/Organizational Behavior from the University of the Pacific, having had legendary music attorney Dick Etlinger (Casablanca Records, Priority Records, Playboy Enterprises) as his mentor. He had a 10-year tenure on the Advisory Board and was a guest lecturer for the Music Industry Studies program at Pacific in the fields of Artist Management and Record Label Operations.

As a military officer, he more recently served on the headquarters staff of the 129th Rescue Wing, a special operations military rescue unit, and volunteers from time to time with the Civil Air Patrol, preparing young people for leadership roles in the military and aerospace careers.

Currently, Jorge focuses the majority of his time consulting for mid-to-small companies/start-ups in the areas of human resources, marketing, operations, and executive support. He is also a father, husband, and enjoys playing and performing music, along with spending time with his cat, Mikey, and Great Dane Reina.
