John-Michael D. Cabot

Being both born and raised in Tampa, I am one of the rare that can stake the claim to being a true Florida native. As a 4th generation "Tampanian" my heritage ties to the Tampa Bay area stem all the way back to my great grandfather who worked at historic "Chinsegut Hill" in Brooksville, FL. To this day my family still owns the house my grandfather was raised in just around the corner on Lake Lindsay. Not to be outdone, my lovely wife Ivy also has a rich Tampa heritage and is a 4th generation "Tampanian" herself with roots out of the Seffner area.

As fate would have it, my wife and I met in the waiting room at a Dentist office of all places in 2005 and we've been happily married since 2008. With no children as of yet we certainly have the next best thing to kin in our 100 pound yellow lab, Randall. Growing up as the son of a local pastor I'm grateful for the strong values my parents instilled in me as a child. As an adult my moral compass draws from my upbringing and helps guide me in all facets of life. Needless to say, both my wife and I have a very devoted love for Tampa Bay and are deeply connected with the community. It is for the same reason that I love my job of being in Major Market sales at Paychex. Helping local companies streamline operations surrounding payroll and in a manner that positively impacts business is a true joy for me!
