Jamie Allen

Jamie Allen is Senior Counsel for diagnostic imaging businesses at GE Healthcare. In her role, she provides legal leadership and strategic legal advice to the global businesses and senior leadership. Ms. Allen is responsible for a variety of legal matters involving health law, commercial transactions, research, compliance, corporate legal issues, fraud and abuse, labor & employment and mergers and acquisitions and compliance training. As a global lawyer, Ms. Allen travels extensively outside of the US and supports primary business clients in in Haifa, Israel, Uppsala, Sweden, and Buc, France.

Ms. Allen is Six Sigma Black Belt certified and has successfully led cross-functional projects to drive cycle time reduction and process simplification.She has held roles with increasing responsibility since joining GE in 2003 as Commercial Counsel at GE Insurance in Overland Park, Kansas. She joined GE Healthcare in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2007 as Commercial Counsel.

During her tenure at GE, Ms. Allen has chaired GE affinity group to help champion diversity in the legal function and diversity initiatives, led community service and mentoring programs.

Prior to joining GE, Jamie worked as an attorney at Husch Blackwell Sanders in Kansas City, MO (formerly Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin) ….. commercial litigation and …. Ms. Allen began her legal career at Hemer Barkus Clark law firm in Glendale, defending physicians and healthcare providers in medical negligence cases Managed pre-trial matters in consolidated litigation involving insurance defense and medical malpractice issues.
