I am pursuing work within the advertising, marketing, promotions, and customers relationships industry. I learn quickly, and like to think on my feet. I like to learn from different industries because it helps me draw from different backgrounds to think in an innovative manner.
I currently work for a digital advertising agency called Standing Dog Interactive. I manage search engine marketing campaigns, Twitter promoted posts, Facebook, and all other paid media.
On the side, I write contributions to a blog. Feel free to browse through articles at: www.TheStateofAwesome.com.
Previously, I worked for a search engine marketing company called ReachLocal. I managed campaigns that spend $5000 or above. My goal was to achieve the business goals of our clients, and retain them through long lasting relationships. I managed over $300,000 in budget for search marketing, display marketing, and other services.
My current goals are to learn Mandarin by 2015 end, and then travel to China to learn more about my heritage. I then plan to learn Japanese, Italian, French, and Spanish so I can travel to their respective countries. I believe that travel is also essential to think broadly. Not only to learn about other countries, but to learn about ourselves.
My long term goal is to work towards a PH.D in Business Psychology. A professor of mine has inspired me to work towards an understanding of the business mind, and how it affects us in the industry, the consumer, and our surroundings.
Specialties: Public Speaking, Social Media, Search Engine Marketing Management (Google, Yahoo | Bing, Superpages, CitySearch), SEO.
