i am an experimental/ambient/rock guitarist, but i am open to experimenting in different styles. i am currently living in charlotte, nc. i played in a band called the pursuit. i've played ccm for about 10 years. i am looking for people to play and write music with. i hope to pursue music, whatever that may bring. my influences so far are: ascend the hill, the chariot, the edge (u2), explosions in the sky, la dispute, listener, mewithoutYou, mutemath, my epic, sigur ros, so long forgotten, son lux. music is how i worship God, and why i play. i would like to join with others that share similar views of music, to redefine the music scene and what the church can be; that worship can take place at a show (bar, pit, or whatever that may be), and that it isn't exclusive to the confines of a building with a steeple. i am passionate about this vision.
