Jordan Mechner

Hi, I'm Jordan. I'm a game designer, writer, and filmmaker.

I created my first games (Karateka and Prince of Persia) on an Apple II. Later, I worked with larger teams as a game designer and writer (The Last Express, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time).

My film credits include a short documentary (Chavez Ravine) and a big summer movie (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time). Most recently, I wrote the graphic novel Templar.

I've published my game-dev journals from the 1980s (The Making of Karateka and Prince of Persia), and the Apple II Prince of Persia source code on github. Lately, I've been keeping a sketch journal.
