João Gonçalves

João finished his Computer Science and Software Engineering 5 year degree from the University of Coimbra in 2006. He has been working since then for PT Inovação, almost exclusively in European projects. In the FP6 C-Mobile and FP7 C-Cast projects he worked mainly in the architecture, service enabler layer and assumed a key role in implementing the demonstrator. In June 2008 attained his MSc degree in Wireless Networks with Distinction from the Queen Mary University of London and in September of the same year started to pursue a PhD in a joint Computer Science doctoral programme by the Universities of Minho, Aveiro and Porto. Currently he is working on his thesis named "Integrated Identity and Context Management Architecture for Privacy-Enabled Context-Awareness".
