Johannes M. Hedinger
Johannes M. Hedinger (born in St.Gallen/Switzerland) is an artist, director, curator, publisher, lecturer, writer and art historian. He lives and works in Zurich, Amsterdam and at the project places.
Hedinger has an academic degree in art history (lic. phil/Master of Arts UZH University of Zurich), a master of fine arts (diploma SBK ZHDK Zurich) and a postgrad. art degree from UCLA Los Angeles. Currently he is a PhD candidate at the philosophical faculty of the University of Zurich and University of Lausanne.
Hedingers artistic work is mostly known for his collaboration with the 1997 founded artist duo Com&Com (120 exhibitions in 17 countries, among them Venice Biennale, Singapore Biennale, Kunstwerke Berlin, Kunsthaus Zurich a.o.).
Hedinger is a lecturer at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZHDK Zürich and University of Cologne. Furthermore he works as a freelance curator and publicist (i.e. monthly art talk in Schweizer Monat).
