Jmiah Williamson

Jeremy Williamson, aka "Jmiah" was a normal, fun-loving, athletic, 13 year old teenager when he was suddenly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 22 years ago. When he turned 30 in 2006, he came to another crossroad in his life and began modeling and competing in fitness model shows. His first competition was the “World’s Fittest Model Competition” at the Olympia Expo in Las Vegas. In 2007, he won 1st place in the FAS-NET’s Male Model Competition, 2nd place in the prestigious Model Universe 2007, 3rd place in Model America 2007, 3rd place in Fitness Atlantic’s Model America, and again 2nd place in Model Universe 2008. When 2009 came, he decided he wanted to be more than just a face in the modeling industry, but a VOICE in diabetes awareness and inspiring diabetics all over to get in shape, which is the first step in battling that life long condition until there is a cure. Today he is a highly-acclaimed motivational speaker for many events in public schools, colleges, conferences and organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
