Juliette Milbank

Hi, I'm Juliette. I'm a mechanical engineer and I completed a PhD in aeroacoustics what seems a lifetime ago (13 years) and then shortly afterwards ended up in a regional Victoria - so no work opportunities here! I started a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing a couple of years ago and loved it. A subject earlier this year forced me to create a Wordpress blog which I'm now using to post my writing, so check that out if you want to see what I'm doing. I have a keen interest in health and renewable energy, but I love learning about all sorts of things and want to help others understand science based things too.

I used to play competitive squash and touch football in my former lives. I love hiking, gardening, taking photos with my phone, and reading when I get the time. I read news websites and write the occasional FB post (to keep in touch with family and friends). But otherwise I'm a digital newborn (with an old soul).

I'm not really sure of what I'm doing – I'm very much learning as I go along – but it's fun and I'm keen to keep on learning.
