Hello McCombs Class of 2018!
I am in constant pursuit of new adventures, challenges, and connections. So far, this approach has served me well in Washington, D.C.: I have skydived despite being afraid of heights, run a half-marathon, and fostered a love for hiking and playing floor hockey through meeting new people in DC area clubs. For my next adventure, I can't wait to connect with all of you and join new clubs at McCombs!
Professionally, for me it's all all about one word: improvement. I work with data and clients to help the Department of Justice COPS program run more efficiently. Long term, I am interested in using data analytics to better understand customers and improve their product experience and brand perception.
In my employment and spare time, I am passionate about my community. Every week, I teach ESL courses to low-income adult immigrants, prepare and serve breakfast at a local shelter, and run with our homeless population through Back on My Feet. I even donned a banana costume while playing in a ping-pong tournament and, under the slogan, "Gimme Some Potassium", raised $1,000 for an education nonprofit.
My approach to McCombs will be no different. Even though I am kind of a big UVA fan (I was their mascot), and I love D.C., I cannot wait to build a new community in Austin and bleed burnt orange with all of you. See you around campus, and Hook 'em!
