John O'Connor
John O'Connor joined A.T. Clayton at time when paper was the channel of consumer communication. Consumer response was dictated by, and very dependent on, printed catalogs and direct mail.
Today, marketing executives face the new challenge of parceling their marketing dollars to the various channels where their customers reside. Today's marketer is challenged with decisions that will effect how their product or service survives in this evolving consumer marketplace.
The good news is that print and paper will continue to have a position in marketing.
The cost challenge for maintaining this channel presence is where John brings his expertise, and his role at A.T. Clayton blends the consultative with the subject matter expert.
He is excited about the opportunities the changing consumer landscape presents, as he views these challenges not as roadblocks, rather as the avenues where he will meet his newest business partners.
John has a wealth of interests including: live music, grilling, leisure travel, history, and collecting wine. He also enjoys the guilty pleasure of Page Six reading on the weekends.
He resides in Connecticut with his wife, Moira. His three grown children and their families also live in the New York Metro area and work in related industries (cable, digital, and print).
