Sometime during the autumn of 1998 the dotcom bubble sucked me into its cyclone of disruption. Starting off in the marketing department of a cloud-based music service, which failed, because back then people didn't like the cloud, I moved on to free-hosting powerhouse FortuneCity. At FortuneCity I wore as many hats as the founders could throw at me: marketing manager, content chief, customer support supervisor…if it dealt with client-facing communications, I did it. When the bubble burst, I rode the digital ripples into the future, mainly as a partner in a strategic counsel firm.

I have an MFA in drawing, launched and write for a handful of sites/blogs, and have created and implemented digital programs for global brands, start-ups, and organic farmers. I am in constant awe of the amazing people I cross paths with, meet in person, and when the stars align, get to work with.

The main goal in my current role as Director, Digital Strategy, North America at Waggener Edstrom, is to build programs that provide tangible results, resonate within a widening market, and have a positive impact on my client's bottom line. Identifying opportunities and sparking engagements are my tactics. My strategy is simple; I read between the lines, stay open to all ideas, and listen very deeply.
